Problems with 3G Nano by NikeTenis
The product claims to be compatible with “new Video Nanos” - this, however, is quite a misleading statement. Yes, the 3G does in fact connect to the dock and play music, however, the remote control functionality is crippled and no adapter is provided to provide a snug fit into the dock. The instructions are lacking, and the website simply states that the 3G should be connected through the auxiliary jack in the back of the dock (using the headphone connection on the IPod). I in no way consider this to be “supporting” the 3G! In theory, I could connect my 1992 Sony Walkman to the auxiliary jack as well, but this is not why I purchased a dock! I expect the system to be able to properly charge my IPod and control it by remote. The remote control functionality was erratic and effectively useless - I attempted to change the battery with no avail. Volume control and power worked correctly, however, navigating through the songs worked only on occasion. As a redeeming feature, the quality of music was relatively good considering the size of the unit. However, due to the numerous problems I encountered, I will be returning the product to Amazon asap!

I just got these Logitech portable speakers for my iPod and let me tell you I couldn’t be happier. They sound great, so plus I have to sacrifice style as they look like they were made by Apple just to go with the iPod. The speakers come with their own custom traveling case to protect them from scratches and bumps and it goes without saying that you also get a remote, AC adapter, and users manual, so if you’ve got an iPod and want good sound coming from it, then you just might want to check these speakers out. Plus another plus is that they are not so gosh darned expensive and that’s a mighty big plus as far as I’m concerned.

Lots of promise, but doesn’t deliver much by Harry Gaston
I was really excited about these speakers, despite the fact that its battery is built in (I always prefer standard batteries to utilize my own rechargeables - what happens when the battery unit in this goes bad?)

But once I received it, I immediately was disappointed. There simply isn’t enough volume to fill out even a small room. With so little sound, the quality is almost irrelevant and the usefulness goes to nil. I am very disappointed.
