This case is the best case I have seen for iPods in a long time. The textured rubber makes for a no-slip surface while holding your iPod, and if you ever drop it, will be sure to absorb the impact. Although not mentioned in the product description (or perhaps I missed it?) a high-quality screen protector is included. You can run your fingers along the screen without the iPod missing the signal- a problem with lower-quality screen proctors. All-in-all, this is a great way to protect your iPod Touch while retaining it’s good looks.

The Speck ArmorSkin is nearly perfect. The soft-touch rubberized tiles that coat the surface of the case look cool and, more importantly, they are very protective.

Once encased, the iPod takes on a much sturdier feel, and the armor tile design does that without adding significant bulk or weight. The tiles also provide excellent “gripyness” (scientific term). The difference between the melted pat of butter that is a naked iPod Touch and the secure futuristic piece of hardware that is a ArmorSkin-ed iPod Touch is literally night and day.

My only gripes are that the included screen protector is garbage, and I wish the case didn’t cover the home button. But, those are trivial concerns. The bottom line is that if you’re interested in putting your beautiful new Touch in a case that retains “pocketability”, protects it from damage and looks high-tech, then this is the case you’ve been looking for.

Yeah!!! After reading reviews for half an hour, I settled on the Speck ArmourSkin.

Really glad I did…an excellent choice. First it doesn’t take away from the slim profile-it actually adds to it,feeling more secure. It still fits nicely in shirt pocket or gym pants/shorts. Secondly it feels great-super silky smooth for rubber and doesn’t scratch. Third-it’s kind of sexxy!

P.S. as for the “ever bitchy screen cover” here is the deal-the cover exists between the 2 sleeves with paper tabs soooo there is no paper/glue residue to annoy me or you! I found out on the 2nd set-I ruined the first. Also, you will need scotch tape all along to remove dust.
