Really good option for an iPod alarm clock by Cagney
I wanted an option to wake to music, so an iPod alarm was a perfect fit. My son owns the Altec Lansing inMotion iPod alarm clock but when I saw the iHome in an Apple store I decided to give it a try. I have been more than happy with my decision.

I know that some complain about the sound quality but I find it to be just fine. Admittedly I’m not an audiophile, but with slight adjustments to the bass and turning on the 3D option the output sounds normal to everyone in my household. The more important factor to me is how easy it is to use and adjust. Compared to the inMotion alarm clock, it’s a lot more user friendly. The click-wheel is fantastic for ease of adjustment and the display has large icons and numbers that let you know without a doubt what things are set at. With the inMotion, on more than one occasion my son’s alarm hasn’t functioned as he thought it would because he hadn’t set it properly.

Other pros are that you can adjust the brightness of the display to eight different levels, you can set the length of snooze from 1-29 minutes, you can create an “iHome” playlist on your iPod and the alarm clock will randomly select from it each morning, and the alarm can be set to go off every day, only weekdays, or only weekends.

Great little clock radio by Gwyn Edwards
The best thing I like about this product is its ease of use. It arrives with the clock already set, all you have to do is set your time zone (it came set for EST). Then, to set it to DST there is a little switch at the back that does that right away, no time changing required! Not that changing the time or the alarms is difficult. But probably the best feature of all is the 5-day alarm mode - the alarm comes on only Monday through Friday, no more being woken up early on Saturday morning because you forgot to turn off the alarm on Friday! Oh, and it sounds good, too.

ipod ihome radio by Richard A. Lickhalter
This product is well designed and produces great sound from the ipod if used with 3D option. My only complaint is that the insert for the ipod nano was not included and I had to contact the company to obtain the required insert. This came free in a few days.

I love using the remote to control the radio and the alarm is so well designed.

Waking up to sweet music by A. Bearden
I’m very impressed with this item! My favorite setting is the ability to set different alarms for different days (7, 5, 2) Plus it sounds great! I also have a Bose doc for a different room in the house, and the sound quality is comparable. Now I get to wake up to whatever playlist I like, and can choose the length of the snooze, plus not have to worry about if the power goes out. All in all, this is a GREAT product, and I found it at a GREAT price.
