Good price AND works with the new Ipod Classic by E. Gruber
The packaging does not explicitly say that the charger works with the new iPod Classic, only that it works with “Ipod Video”. Well it works just fine with the 160 GB Classic and saves you a bundle over ipod’s more expensive car charger. It was made in China though, so be sure to keep young children from chewing on it I just wish I could find stuff NOT made in China.

I had the previous version of this and it looks like it’s been through a war…but it still charges my ipod like a champ! Very durable and works well. A must-have if you want to use your ipod on car trips!

Well made and works like a charm. I would suggest getting this one for sure.

Ok if you can bear the hissing sound. by void
The ipod can play songs and simultaneously get charged by this charger. As long as you can bear the low background static, playback is just fine. It’s not really noticeable until your car comes to a stop though. One other feature I’d have expected to see is the ability to automatically put the ipod in standby mode when I turn off the engine when the ipod is charging.
