My Wife Just Loves Them! by Eddie Hodges
Purchased the Sony MDR-EX81LP Bud-Style Stereo Earphones for my wife’s birthday last September and may I say, “I don’t think you could take them away from her”. She uses them at work for work with her computer or plugs them in to her MP3 player for great sound from her favorite music. She has let other co-workers try them and they too have ordered them a set from Amazon.com, maybe you should. I agree they are the best sounding ear buds I have very hear!!

These Sony earphones are absolutely the biggest bang for your buck…I’d gotten a pair from my brother and ended up losing them at school. So I had to come buy a new pair and they are straight up fantastic. Definitely rock these if you have need of some new, ridiculously comfortable, high performance earphones.

Ear buds does not fit snuggly even with the smallest ear piece attachment. Ear hook does not hold in place.

i have read the reviews on this site, and i simply must conclude that these headphones work better for some (those with large ear canals) but are horrible for others. i have small ears and have trouble using the earphones that come without an over-the-ear piece as they constantly fall out of my ear. i purchased these earphones to compensate for this deficiency. since using them for a couple of hours while riding on my bike, it seems like the former earphones actually stay in longer. the over-the-ear piece that comes with these earphones are flimsy and do not stay securely around my ear (even when walking!)

with that said, when i manage to keep the earphones in my ear for more than 5 minutes, the sound is much better than most of the cheaper earphones that i have used in the past. i give this product a rating of 2 because even though the sound is nice, it doesn’t outweigh the fact that i can’t enjoy this sound for more than 5 minutes before having to resecure the piece.

when i was buying these earphones, i thought i was upgrading. but, i feel that the cheaper alternative that i used before (great fit, but okay sound) is a better deal for me. This is the Sony - Clip-On In-Ear Stereo Headphones and they are only $12 ($4 gently used) on amazon.
