No video playback with newer iPod models (nanos, iPod touch, iPhone). Audio interface works fine.
Started off nice! by Read n Review
Worked great when I first bought it! But I updated the software on my IPod and POW!!!! No more video to the head unit(Pioneer Avic-D3)! Not the cable’s fault, but it’s still 50% useless to me now. Works great if all you want to control is music!

EXCELLENT
A simple cable that gives you complete Ipod controll on your deck, better than any other type of ipod adaptor product I have ever used and there have been many.

This interface cable works great with the iPod but not so great with the iPhone…in fact, not at all. When the iPhone is connected, the phone does not charge and you will receive an error on your head unit’s display. The phone will then ask if you want to switch to airplane mode then play only the last album in your library with no option to control the music.
