The Griffin Technology 4031-RDGC RoadTrip FM Transmitter and Auto Charger and Cradle for iPod combines a high-powered FM transmitter, an iPod auto charger, and a convenient iPod cradle in one package. The RoadTrip plugs into any power outlet or lighter adapter and provides an adjustable cradle for any docking iPod. Once your iPod is charged and docked, the transmitter broadcasts your iPod’s music to any FM frequency from 88.1 to 107.9. The backlit screen shows which frequency is currently broadcasting, while buttons located directly on the front of the unit allow for easy adjustments.
The removable transmitter can also broadcast music from Macs or PCs through a combination USB power and audio connector cable that attaches any USB equipped computer to the module. Then, just play your iTunes music, movie audio, or presentation sound on any FM stereo that’s close by.

I was apprehensive when I got it for about $15, but the item arrived in perfect condition with all its accessories and work great. Quite a steal, really!
a little fuzzy but works well by DLP
works nicely in rural areas, but can be hard to find a clear station in the city. definitely a nice alternative when you can’t connect your i-pod directly to the stereo
iPod on the Road by Pamela Feazell
I received the Griffin 4031-RDGC Roadtrip FM Transmitter much sooner than I expected. I had no problem setting the FM transmitter up except for the few minutes that I couldn’t figure out how to get the channel set. My radio has two FM bands and I was on the wrong one. Once I figured that out then everything was fine. I even set up more quickly in my husbands’ car! I thought it said that it would read the titles on the radio like the radio itself does but I might be incorrect. Other than that I am having fun with my iPod on the road.

This product works better than I ever expected. Friends who have similar products are amazed at how much sharper the sound is with this transmitter. Recommend this product to anyone with an Ipod and who is consistantly on the go!!!
