Let the Shows Begin!. Sony Bravia L-Series KDL-37L4000 37-Inch 720p LCD HDTV

We are very happy with Sony KDL37S5500U new Sony HDTV.

Excellent Product, I love it. In order to get the best from Sony KDL37S5500U tv, you must setup the picture settings individually for each input source (DVD, Cable or Satellite, TV, etc). If you want to get the maximum resolution on Sony KDL37S5500U tv, please subscribe to a HD service.

37 inch Sony Bravia. Excellent TV. Awesome pictures and fantastic features. Amazon delivered on time and I couldn’t be more satisfied. I would recommend Sony KDL37S5500U TV to anyone.

Brava!. I bought Sony KDL32S5500U TV for my husband and he loves it. Amazon had the best price on the internet I will always check Amazon first when I am considering buying on-line.

Sony DSCW210P

Sony Cybershot 7.2mp.

is an excellent camera with a good design and color, will recommend to the entire world, by its very economical price

I enjoy Sony DSCW210P .

Love my new Camera!. I am completely pleased and excited to have purchased this camera, the Sonyt Cybershot 120. The transaction was great. Sony DSCW210P arrived right on schedule in excellent condition, as promised. I am really enjoying Sony DSCW210P and feel that I made a good choice, after a lot of research.

perfect camera. Very good camera, elegant and easy for taking by its small size, Sony DSCW210P incorporates good functions, and great quality of image in the screen, the photos have good resolusion at night and also.

Sony DSCW210S

Very delighted. I’m very pleased with the camera after taking more than 200 shots in a little amount of time. The Auto mode is really useful but where the camera really shines is in the program area. Great photo results with just little tweaks.

Oh, and the Smile Shutter is more useful than Sony DSCW210S seems, specially when taking those pesky baby smile pictures.

Fantastic Camera for it’s purpose!. I bought Sony DSCW210S camera for my wife to take along with her when she’s out and about with our son! She needs a small/compact camera that was quick and easy to use, took great pictures and allowed her to get them online and off to family and friends.

This camera does that and some. We have had x2 sony P&S cameras prior to Sony DSCW210S and yet again we are extremely pleased! We have no complaints at all about Sony DSCW210S camera.

Also since the price reduction down to $129 you cannot beat the price for a P/S with x5 zoom, 8+MP, 2.7″ screen size, etc…

GREAT BUY!

great little camera. We have had this camera for about a month and really love it. It’s super fast, really small, and has a nice view screen. I like the fun slide show option where you can download your own songs and play the pictures to music. How fun. Sony DSCW210S takes wonderful pictures too. We took Sony DSCW210S to the beach and got some wonderful sunset pics. Sony DSCW210S has a nice zoom too. The only thing we don’t like is Sony DSCW210S doesn’t take double a batteries, and the place to plug Sony DSCW210S into the computer is on the bottom which isn’t very convienient. I would highly reccomend this camera to anyone who wants a really nice point and shoot camera with lots of fun features.

Sony DSCW210G

Wonderful Camera!. Sony DSCW210G camera has all the features I wanted: easy to use, long battery life, and it’s not expensive.

Great Buy!!. This was a birthday gift for my girlfriend. She absolutley loves it. With all the features, picture clarity, videos capabilities and such…well, she literally take the camera everywhere she goes. For the price I paid through Amazon, Sony DSCW210G was a steal!

Ok camera, but not good under low light conditions. I did not buy the camera on Amazon, but have been a Sony Cybershot user for a long time. My wife really like the design of the camera and how portable Sony DSCW210G is. Sony DSCW210G takes nice picture in most conditions. However, we found Sony DSCW210G highly frustrating under low-light conditions. The pictures either come out blurred because of long exposure time, or strangely lit.

Sony VAIO CS21ZQ

Good product, bit expensive as compared to competition.. Good product, my 2nd vaio laptop after the screen of my 1st one died. No problems till now, have been using Sony VAIO CS21ZQ for a month. The external finishing could have been better rather than the sharp edged metal piece Sony VAIO CS21ZQ is. Easy to set up and use.

Very pleased. The computer was purchased for my son for graduation. He could not be more pleased! I enjoy Sony VAIO CS21ZQ .

Pleased so far.. Picked Sony VAIO CS21ZQ up yesterday. I loved the clean look of this laptop and the screen looked very good, at least in the store display.

I had heard about all the Sony bloatware and was prepared to install XP on Sony VAIO CS21ZQ or at least reinstall Vista. However, so far, the laptop seems to be powerful enough to handle everything they have put on it. I did uninstall all the trialware and installed AVG free for virus protection.

The screen is very good, speakers not so much. Built-in microphone is weak and the camera is adequate. Speed/performance is very good. Laptop is a tad bulkier/heavier than I would like, I have a 14.1″ D630 from work that I carry around and am used to that weight which is quite a bit lighter.

Had no trouble with the laptop connecting to my wireless the first time, but after a while whenever I would shutdown/hibernate/sleep the PC, Sony VAIO CS21ZQ would have a lot of trouble connecting back or even finding my router. That’s a problem with the Intel wireless driver and using Windows built-in wireless manager. Sony VAIO CS21ZQ is the same chipset that I have on my D630 and had same problems. Ended up installing Intel wireless management utility and have had no problems. BTW, my router is US Robotics and I do not broadcast my SSID. I have heard that linksys routers do not have much of a problem. I plan on replacing my router with a 802.11n linksys router, so will update on that later.

Have not tried bluetooth yet.

Battery life could be better. I am used to 4-5 hours on my D630. This one will only go 2 or less with full brightness.

The point someone made about power connection interfering with the DVD tray is valid and I was also surprised that Sony made this design mistake, but not that big a deal.

All in all, I mostly like what I see so far. The price I paid ($849) seems to be worth Sony VAIO CS21ZQ so far.

Sony VAIO CS21SR

The laptop of my choice. I purchased this laptop because of the style, the sony brand, and I was impressed with my families vaio’s, and i’m very pleased I did! One thing to start with is the price, Sony VAIO CS21SR is very good and competitive (I did look around) also the screen looks so bright and the picture is fantastic. I have grown ever fond of sony in the past couple of years but only recently have I been this happy with them. Everything I have ever bought with the name sony on Sony VAIO CS21SR has lived up to my ever growing expectations, this laptop is no exception. If you are looking around for a laptop I would advise to give sony’s modles a look, they have such style and class in there design, and are packed with features and nice layouts. This is a great laptop, I am happy I bought it.

Exactly what I was dreaming of. Beautiful, fast, packed with features and software and ready to go in minutes right out of the box, I fell instantly in love with the thing. And being a longtime Mac person Sony VAIO CS21SR was a difficult decision to give a Window machine a try. So yes the sound is a little weak, surprisingly from a Sony object, and now I hope Sony VAIO CS21SR doesn’t break in 3 weeks, as I read a lot about Vaio problems… In the meantime I see in Sony VAIO CS21SR everything I need from a laptop. And Amazon offered an incredible price, free delivery that happened to be the next day. So far a top consumer experience for me.

It doesn’t even deserve one star!. My husband purchased this laptop for me for christmas before he deployed so that we could stay in touch. I love Sony VAIO CS21SR at first I downloaded pictures and installed wirless so that I could talk to him when ever. Well 2 days after opening Sony VAIO CS21SR the harddrive fried, not to mention that Sony won’t take Sony VAIO CS21SR back since we live overseas. I HATE THIS THINK what a waste of money!

Sony VAIO CS21SW

Super Machine. I bought this laptop for replacement of my broken Dell Inspiron 700M. I really like this laptop so far.

This laptop is nicely constructed and Sony VAIO CS21SW is lighter than my Dell. This laptop is mostly made up of plastic and only the keyboard area are metallic. I am not sure what kind of metal did Sony used, maybe magnesium alloy as what they have claimed on their advertisement. The keyboard is really nice, Sony VAIO CS21SW doesn’t flex like many other laptops and Sony VAIO CS21SW is very quite.

The machine remains very cool even thought you have your setting on maximum performance. Sony VAIO CS21SW might generate little bit of heat on palm rest area, but Sony VAIO CS21SW won’t bothers you like my Dell. The fan is always on, however Sony VAIO CS21SW doesn’t make a lot of noise.

The screen on this laptop is best I have seen so far. Sony VAIO CS21SW is very bright and sharp. You can adjust the resolution if you think 1280X800 pixels are too small for you. there are 4 different of resolution you can change to.

A good, compact notebook with solid performance. I bought the Sony VAIO VGN-SR140E/B 13.3 inch notebook after 4 years with my old Acer laptop. The Acer was bulky and ran pretty hot, so this time I decided to get myself something more compact, since I want to be able to comfortably hold Sony VAIO CS21SW on my lap. I have to say that I’m very pleased with this notebook.

This VAIO is very small and light. Sony VAIO CS21SW weighs something like 4 lbs. Besides being compact and light, I also like the fact that Sony VAIO CS21SW doesn’t run hot. Sony VAIO CS21SW stays cool pretty much all the time. The fans are very quiet and barely noticable, even when they spool up (which happens once every two days, if that). The design of the notebook is very nice. I wish Sony VAIO CS21SW had more USB slots, but there’s always some trade offs with a compact notebook. The biggest drawback is that the screen is on the small size. If you have bad vision you’ll have a hard time with the screen resolution. Unfortunately the screen resolution can only be adjusted in such a way that Sony VAIO CS21SW looks like absolute crap if it’s anything other than the native resolution. I’m not a computer wiz, so I don’t know how else to explain it. Personally, the 13.3 inch screen works out fine for me.

Other than that, Sony VAIO CS21SW runs Vista without any problems. I haven’t experienced any slowdowns so far. Overall, I’m very pleased with my purchase. For those looking to buy one of the 13.3 inch VAIOs, make sure that you are Ok with the screen size, because Sony VAIO CS21SW may be a little too small for some people.

Consider a Configure-to-Order. I don’t have this computer yet — I just ordered Sony VAIO CS21SW today, from Sony’s website — but I am just coming to warn folks to consider buying Sony VAIO CS21SW from Sony’s website. Not for any loyalty reasons (I’m actually more loyal to Amazon.com than Sony!) but because of the cost. This is a nicely configured computer, but at Sony’s website you can configure this with a 2.4 GHz P series processor, 320 GB of HDD space at 7200 rpm, 4 GB of RAM, and ATI Radeon HD graphics with a HDMI output — for $1329. If you want the pink version, add $50. You can get the total package, tax and shipping included, for less than Amazon charges you for this before that. (Probably not their fault.)

And if you are a college student, join Sony Style Campus and get an extra discount. Actually, you might get the discount regardless of whether you are, as long as you register an account with them and log in when you buy it. I got a further discount, which means that I got the above-mentioned configuration for $1238 before tax ($1398 + tax, and shipping is free if you opt for the 5-day).

I’ll be back to review Sony VAIO CS21SW once I get it.

Sony VAIO CS21SP

A tad frustrating!…..cost wise that is!!!!!. I received this notebook yesterday. Frustratingly, the price has dropped about $35 in the intervening two days between ordering and recieving the machine. Bummer. Regardless, here are my initial observations.

I am upgrading from the Vaio PCG-TR3A, a lovely little notebook however struggling now with only 2GB’s of RAM and, like it’s owner, an ageing processor. I was however impressed with the TR3A’s monitor which, with a pair of “cheater” reading glasses was clear and sharp, although a little small. My main reason for buying the TR3A was it’s portability however, after analysis I realized I really don’t travel as much as I would either like or can afford to, so Sony VAIO CS21SP was time to upgrade.

I decided to stay with Sony as opposed to other PC’s primarily for the monitor and research confirmed that Sony still appears to be ahead of the game in this department. I initially considered the new Vaio “Z” series, however I could not warrant paying the extra dollars based on my normal PC usuage and hence I decided on the Vaio SR series. My other major requirement/desire was for a “fingerprint” reader so that I could log on to Amazon that much more quickly to spend my hard earned “dosh”.

As usual, my new purchase arrived smack on time, ie, next day delivery at a very reasonable cost based on my “Amazon Prime” membership (highly recommended if you are an Amazon Junkie as I am). Interestingly the neoprene cover I ordered with the PC was delayed, by UPS Sony VAIO CS21SP appears, but it’s not a big deal right now however, when one pays for a “next day” service, maybe one should expect it?????

The PC was well packaged by Amazon and Sony. Out of the box there were no apparent problems. I was struck by how compact and light the SR is even though Sony VAIO CS21SP has a larger screen size than my TR. I have to also comment on the rubber studs that the machine sits on. I did read in my research that the studs are lacking in tactility (I think I just invented that word) and “pooh poohed” the comments I read. I have to report, however, that on our countertop surface, the SR reacts similar to the puck on a “table hockey” game. This is great if you want to share your recent web findings with your partner on the opposite side of the table, however you have to be aware of Sony VAIO CS21SP and a little careful. I’ll be honest, I was a little dismissive of this comment initially however Sony VAIO CS21SP is really evident however liveable with.

This is my first machine and real experience with Windows Vista and so far I have no real complaints. Connecting with my WiFi network went smoothly and upgrading Vista also went well. The SR screen so far meets my expectations although I have not challenged the machine graphically.

I am hugely impressed with the speed of the machine, especially on the web. My TR3A was exceedingly slow, even with an “n” wifi adapter. I also immediately notice the SR runs a lot cooler than the TR although I have to report I do not “game” or any such activity.

So far I am a little dissaponted with the “Fingerprint reader”. I registered my finger print however Sony VAIO CS21SP takes constant re-try’s to get a good reading when logging on! Now, this may be operator error and I need to work on my technique and consistency, however, I did think that Sony VAIO CS21SP would be a little more “friendly” and I hope that this aspect improves as Sony VAIO CS21SP was an important purchasing feature.

The keyboard is nicely spaced which helps as I am a touch typist…..hmmm,…..isn’t everybody these days? I am noticing a few errors….missed keys that is……beyond my normal typo’s…..but again that may be “operator error” and I need to give Sony VAIO CS21SP time. I also note a frustrating errant cursor secondary to, I believe, a very sensitive touch pad. Again I think this will impove as I become more familiar with the machine.

In general, I am pleased with the Sony Vaio SR250J and I hope as I become more familiar with the machine I will become even more enamored with it, and Sony VAIO CS21SP with me!!!! In today’s economy, Sony VAIO CS21SP may be worth waiting a week or two to purchase the machine if you are considering this computer, as, with luck, Sony VAIO CS21SP will be half the price I paid for it, however, that being said, Sony VAIO CS21SP is definitely great value compared to my TR3A as the SR is at least $600 cheaper and is a much more powerful and up to date machine.

Best small full featured laptop available today. I was looking for my first personal laptop (had a work laptop that was rather heavy to tote around). I like Sony’s features and dependability and find the Vaio SR to be perfect for my needs…small and light (a little over 4 pounds) so I can toss Sony VAIO CS21SP in a messenger bag and be on my way. Full featured so I’m not giving up any of the speed and hard drive space required to run today’s programs. Sony makes a lighter version yet of this computer, but, for me, the price wasn’t worth it. The Vaio SR is great!!

Good laptop, but with the unhappy lack of choice for the OS. The laptop seems to be very good, but I had to spend many hours to replace the original (and heavy) Vista operational system by XP. Sony’s web-site says that Sony VAIO CS21SP laptop is compatible only with Windows Vista. I found in the internet a detailed guide on how to install XP (http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?p=4080662) on Vaio laptops. However, SONY’s website does not have XP drivers for the VGN-SR250 model, and I used instead those for VGN-SR240N (and everything seems to be Ok). The customers should not be forced to use the Vista OS.

Sony VAIO CS21SV

Do not buy sony vaio laptop ( Worst’s laptop company in the world belive me). I purchase my laptop 10 months back and in that 10 months i sent my laptop to repair center 3 times, same problem in both the time i am not able to power on my laptop.customer service is very worst, they did not care customer problem and talk arogantly. So please do not buy Sony VAIO CS21SV product.

Sony customer service sucks but the pink color is HOT!. I have the newer CR-490 version of this computer ( Intel® Core(tm) 2 Duo Processor T8300 ,2.4 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 250 GB Hardrive). I was on my way to the apple store when the pinkness of the laptop caught my eye. My ex has had Vaios for a few years and swears by them. After going to the Apple store & being overlooked by all the sales reps ( a class was about to start, so in all fairness maybe they didn’t realize I was there to purchase), I decided on this cute little number instead. I had to wait a little over a week because they can’t keep them in stock but I was able to buy one 10 days ago.

About 5 days after buying it, my network adapter stopped working and I had to call Sony support. The two gentleman that helped me were wonderful. The first tech couldn’t get my adapter to start, so he transferred me to a senior tech who corrected my problem via remote access. I was pleased, until my adapter went out again last night. I called sony support again and this time the tech was RUDE! He asked if I remembered what the previous tech had done to fix the problem. When I replied he fixed Sony VAIO CS21SV via remote access, he said remote access was too vague and that I had to have remembered some of the things that he did. I stated, again, that the tech used remote access to try several things and that I was unsure of what he did because none of Sony VAIO CS21SV required my assistance. ( Anyway, if I could remember what the tech did, I wouldn’t need tech support again now would I ?) He then went on to tell me to look in my tool bar for items that did not exist and no matter how many times I told him that there were no double arrows showing, he kept instructing me to look for them. I finally got fed up and requested to speak to someone else. He said there were no other techs available. I requested to speak to a supervisor and of course no supervisor was available either. He told me to call back the next day. I called back today and low and behold I got the same guy. I ask for a supervisor and he comes back, after leaving me on hold for several minutes, and states that no supervisor will be available until 9 am EST. I informed him that I was calling from the east coast and the time was currently 9:34 EST so therefore I would like to speak to a supervisor. He argued that Sony VAIO CS21SV was 7 am EST and that a supervisor wouldn’t be in for 2 more hours. I hung up. I called back at 2 pm EST and asked again for a supervisor. A young lady stated that she would see if a supervisor could accomodate me. She placed me on hold for several minutes, only to come back and state that the supervisor said he could not accomodate me at this time. I told her that as a repeat Sony customer (several tvs, video game systems and vaios) that my family would not be dealing with Sony anymore if this was the kind of service they offered. I called the store that I purchased the computer at to see how to make a complaint with Sony’s Headquarters. I was told that unfortunately phone support isn’t always the best but that they would be more than willing to help in the store. They are going to exchange my laptop for a new one and will allow me to deal with them in the store from now on. The only problem is the store is an hour away and it’s the closest one.

That being said, the laptop is an eyecatcher. Several friends have been oohing & aahing over the “girlyness” of it. It’s very lite and doesn’t burn my leg like the old Averatec back up laptop that Sony VAIO CS21SV is replacing. The battery power could be better. I get about 2 hours. Sony states 2-4 hrs. I noticed some reviews complained about the feel of the keys but I haven’t noticed anything distracting about them. The touchpad is also easy to use as well. I am having difficulty getting used to Vista though. Sony VAIO CS21SV is soooo much slower than XP. I was told that Vista takes about 1GB of memory to run and that if I increase my memory to 4GB, I should see an improvement. I hope so. Vista’s layout is also a little annoying. I’m used to having everything in plan sight with XP and find myself having to frequently use the help menu to locate things. I guess I’ll get used to Sony VAIO CS21SV in time.

So if you’re in the mood for an eyecatching design and have easy access to a Sony store, this might be the laptop for you. If you will have to deal exclusively with Sony phone support, I’d suggest getting an Apple or a Dell( comes in several colors as well). Also beware, if you purchase Sony VAIO CS21SV from a Sony Store, there is a 15% restocking fee if you return it. OUCH!

ok. product came within specified timeframe, was in good condition cosmetically but crashed less than 3 weeks after reciept…so…. I like Sony VAIO CS21SV .
